Fantastic lunch! Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. Great food. Fantastic value and great service. May be my new favourite. A lovely traditional feel to the restaurant. I can't wait to go back.

First the positives. The location is lovely, with a sunny terrace in a quiet square. The building itself is quirky, with a separate bar and different seating areas, including an indoor patio. Service was efficient. The menu included some unusual dishes, as well as more popular ones. However, we found the food a little disappointing. The prawns wrapped in aubergine with honey was underseasoned, the prawns were tough, watery and tasteless and the aubergine also lacked flavour. The chiperones a la plancha were cooked to perfection and the green sauce was delicious. However, I would have expected more than 4 for a racion costing 10 euros.

A uniquely atmospheric restaurant serving traditional tapas with a modern twist. Tremendous service and value for money. A must if you visit San Roque.
